About me I am a Nebraska farm girl in the big city. My daughters grew up in my child care and my dear husband is a fan of "my kids" and my only substitute. I believe with a passion in a home environment for children. I am here in child care because there is nothing more delightful than the development of an infant as he learns to respond to those around him. Child care is my calling, and my service to my community since 1989. Philosophy The very best place for a child is in a home environment with a consistent, loving caregiver. Every baby deserves to be physically and mentally stimulated in a safe clean environment with an adult he can trust. Experience Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. B.A. degree. CPR and First Aid. Additional trainings monthly include conferences and child care associations to keep my knowledge current on child care issues and education. I am currently a board member of NFCCA Nebraska Family Child Care Association and I also am actively involved in Omaha Area Child Care Providers and Toastmasters, Inc Early Learning Program Children at Carol's house receive physical and cognitive stimulation to help them achieve the next step in their development, given with love and acceptance of where they are now in their development and challenging them enough to move to the next stage of growth. This is not cookie cutter preschool from a box, but close attention to each child and stimulation for developmental achievement. We read, we work on all the things that stimulate writing skills; we put math skills into our play. We love the outdoors and the science of nature.
