About My Childcare
My childcare is spacious, bright and child-friendly and
is exclusive from the living area of my home. My
outdoor play area includes a fenced yard with a large
sandbox (20 ' X 30') and outdoor play structure. I have
two regular substitute care providers available in the
event that I must be away during business hours. I am
located near 132nd and Pacific and only minutes away
from Montclair Elementary, Cather Elementary, Millard
North Middle School and Millard North High School.
About Me
My husband Mario and I have been married for 24 years
and we have four children ranging in age from 23-13. In
my spare time, my love and passion is scrapbooking and I
am a volunteer for Make-A-Wish.
As a family, we are active in Elkhorn Soccer Club and
Creighton Girls Soccer.
My Philosophy
I believe kindness, respect, boundaries and consistency
are most important when raising a child. I offer these
with a loving heart and open arms.
My Experience/Training/History
I have been providing care for children since March
1990. Instructor of Boys Town Positive Parenting along
with many various workshops and seminars however, I
think the best example of my parenting abilities are my
own children. They speak more for my parenting skills
than any workshop can.
Early Learning Program
Currently I do not offer a formal preschool program.
Because my daycare consists of children of various ages,
I find it difficult to schedule a specific time for a
formal preschool curriculum and give it the necessary
attention it requires while continuing to give the care
that the younger children need and deserve, at the same
time. However, through the books we read, our books on
tape, the computer available for educational learning,
and the large group activities we do together, the
children learn their ABC’s and 123’s, shapes, colors,
observation skills and appropriate social manners.
